"How Do I Enroll My Child ?"


Friendship Groups (Social Skills Therapy)


New Clients
 

Preschoolers usually start their WMLC experience by taking "Developing Friendships Through Play"

Generally, all new clients ages 5-11 start out by taking "Catching on to Getting Along."

Clients ages 12+ generally take "Tweens/Teens Talk & Tweens/Teens Rock."

Young adults or those in grades 10+ may be interested in "Transition Skills" courses.

You may view our current term enrollment form to see if there is a day of the week and time that fits your schedule and your child's age and course requirements. If you don't see what you need listed, please contact us.

You may download our initial enrollment forms at: "Initial Enrollment Forms" or contact us to mail forms by calling 952-474-0227 or by e-mailing info@wmlearningconnections.com. In addition to the forms we have to fill out, we request copies of the most recent Individual Education Plan (IEP) and psychological evaluations.

Please contact us to schedule a thirty minute intake appointment. Whether you choose to bring your child along or not, is up to you. Please bring your completed forms and copies to the appointment where you can expect a tour of our facility, a summary of our Client Handbook, an opportunity to go over any questions and completion of the Course Enrollment Form and payment arrangements. A $20 minimum deposit is required at registration unless an outside agency will be paying the tuition.


Returning Clients:


Clients may repeat courses several times until the curriculum is mastered or take the same course at a higher level. If you have been enrolled in the preceding term, we will make recommendations assuming that your child will continue. We attempt to keep the schedule as similar as possible to the previous term. We will contact you by phone with our suggestions and they are also posted online (current term schedules). You also have the option of scheduling a thirty minute intake conference if you have any special concerns or considerations.

We need you to complete a course enrollment form including payment arrangements for each enrollment period. The form may be downloaded here (DOWNLOADS) or you may obtain one from the office.
